Title: Poppy Drop This shot was taken whilst working with BBC Studios Production & Creative teams, for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Usually there would be thousands packed into the surrounding seats for this emotional moment to remember the sacrifice of those who served in whichever theatre of war, but due to the covid-19 pandemic the hall was empty and created a massive sense of emotion in the resulting shot. The heart-shape that had formed in the centre of the image only came to light when I first looked at the shot on the screen and has remained with me ever since.
